Margaret is a Senior Advisor focusing on helping Ciesco clients with their marketing, digital and data platform growth agenda.
Margaret is a 30 year veteran specialising in both organic and inorganic growth strategies. With a deep understanding of the digital and technology platforms, her focus is always on both capability expansion and growth strategies including solutioning, integration and sales platfrorms for clients and agencies. Her core belief is that culture and clear strategic fit are they keys to M&A success.
For the last ten years Margaret has been managing growth and regional expansion at Merkle, dentsu’s global customer experience brand. Hired as the Chief Growth Officer for EMEA, she delivered more than £65m in Sales in new logo sales. She then moved to CEO of EMEA, where her focus was on M&A and integration of more than 10 acquisitions over her tenure. As the first executive in their EMEA expansion, she was a key driver taking Merkle from 15 to more than 4800 people. She built the Sales and Marketing platform, which included a regional lead generation platform and the build out of their cornerstone partner strategies with Adobe, Salesforce, AWS and Google.
Margaret is firm believer in active leadership having led teams globally for Merkle, Wunderman and Havas. With a degree in Medieval History, from New York University, her experience was built on the job. Before her tenure at Merkle, Margaret led several global accounts at Wunderman (now VML Digital) to include Citi Cards, Samsung and Land Rover, prior to that she drove corporate development at Havas, as well as roles at RAPP and other local US agencies. She now focusses on advisory services for several multi-nationals.
