Ciesco appoints Daniel Singer, a Data-Driven Insight & Digital Transformation Specialist, as Senior Advisor

London, 14th November 2023 – We are delighted to welcome Daniel Singer to Ciesco as Senior Advisor where he will work with the team as a Technology & Media sector specialist.

Daniel offers remarkable experience and a demonstrated history of success in the field, having committed over 20 years of his career across the Automotive, Electronics, FMCG, Media & Telecoms sectors. Notable experience of Daniel’s includes his latest role as Managing Director at Kantar, the global leading data, insights and consulting company. There, he led Kantar’s Analytics practice in the UK and Ireland. His approach involved creating integrated solutions that harness both human expertise and the power of machine intelligence to ensure clients succeed in an increasingly data-driven business landscape.

Prior to Kantar, Daniel held a series of impactful positions. He served as the CEO of Mavens of London, a leading independent data-driven digital transformation consultancy across the UK and the US where he worked with global brands such as Unilever, Philips, Diageo, AB InBev and Pfizer. Ciesco advised the shareholders of Mavens, including Daniel, on the sale of the business to Kantar in 2020. Mavens became the heart of Kantar’s digital research efforts and Daniel, in his new role, was responsible for establishing and driving this centre of excellence further. His leadership drove significant growth in the EMEA region.

Before Mavens, Daniel built his expertise across the Media and Telecoms consultancy landscape at KPMG and Analysys Mason, and also led critical strategic projects for Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator.

Daniel has an exceptional understanding of data & consumer research, with his key strengths being in consultancy and corporate strategy. Having provided commercial and digital marketing expertise globally and across a variety of industries, Daniel is well-equipped to support the Ciesco team and clients with a fresh perspective. Drawing upon his abundant experience, strategic viewpoint, and hands-on expertise, Daniel will be able to provide valuable feedback to Ciesco clients, whether they are in the initial phases of business establishment or in search of new avenues for expansion.

Last month we appointed Matt Bruun as Senior Advisor in the Technology and Software sector. Daniel’s appointment further strengthens our team’s sector specialism and network within the data-driven, insights and digital transformation world.

Daniel holds a Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford, a Masters in Philosophy of Psychology from King’s College London, and a Post Graduate Diploma of Law from BPP Law School.
