Jay Kainth

Jay is a Vice President at Ciesco, leading deal execution and supporting origination across the Technology and Media sector, with a focus on Software and Tech Services.

He leads the day-to-day running of M&A processes for owner-managed businesses, corporates and PE-backed companies, on both domestic and cross-border deals. Over his deal advisory career at PwC, Knight Corporate Finance and Interpath Advisory, Jay has advised on 35+ transactions, including complex cross-border deals involving stakeholders across Europe and Asia. At Interpath, he played a significant role in developing the firm’s technology and media proposition. His approach is diligent, proactive and relationship-led, with a focus on delivering high-quality processes and outcomes for his clients.

Jay qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with PwC, where he worked in the Transaction Services team. That technical grounding now underpins the tangible value he delivers to lead advisory clients. Jay holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham and speaks advanced Spanish.

Away from the office, Jay keeps active through martial arts and fitness, and is a keen fan of old school music. In his free time, you will find him on a beach holiday or trying out a new restaurant.
